This coffee offers a delightful sweetness reminiscent of strawberries, coupled with a refreshing acidity akin to guava, all harmonizing within a luscious chocolate cake-like body. It originates from the El Indio program, where smallholder farmers in Planadas manage every aspect of cultivation, harvesting, milling, and processing. Following harvest, the coffee cherries undergo meticulous sorting and sun-drying on elevated beds until reaching optimal moisture levels. Finally, the resulting beans convene at ASOPEP for consolidation and subsequent distribution, either for exportation or local sale.
